Like the Dining Table illustrated in the same article, this drawing is remarkably close to the model it predated, in this case Serving Table (no. 802). Aside from the change in drawer pulls (and the reduction of number of them), there are few noticeable differences between this drawing and the production model. The few significant changes are the slight lengthening of the side case boards, and the smaller radius of the front arch which emphasizes the curve more and shortened the space between the drawer and the arch at the apex of this curve.
