Notes
1901 Retail Plates specify “Spanish Leather” for the seats. This was referred to in period advertisements as the “Niagara Hotel Dining Chair.” A 1901 advertisement in the Buffalo Courier for D. E. Morgan, Son, & Allen Co., stated “After a thorough canvass of the manufacturers, this specimen of the United Crafts was selected by the Niagara Hotel.”
