Notes
As is made evident in the 1902 Factory Inventory, this desk was in production by late 1901, though it may have been introduced much earlier in the year. It was displayed at the United Crafts exhibit at the Pan American Exposition in Buffalo, photographs of which appeared in the November 1901 issue of The Craftsman. This would suggest–assuming that the company did not change or update their display during the fair–that the desk was designed and being built prior to the Exposition opening on May 1, 1901. The desk is visible in the second image on the left-hand side, towards the back.
