Craftsman Furniture Made by Gustav Stickley at the Craftsman Workshops, Eastwood, N. Y. (Jan 1909) list seat depth as 21 inches, a figure that is used throughout this settle’s later production.
By 1909 the tacking pattern for the leather was also much simplified and used square tacks rather than round ones.
