Notes
This settle may have been produced as early as 1902 since the January 1903 factory inventory lists 12 examples each of nos. 225M and 12 225T. At first glance might be presumed to designate this form made in mahogany and teak, two woods Stickley used during this time. However, it is more likely this designates Muslin and Tapestry, which would explain why the wood was designated as “oak” for all of these examples.
